JAN 28, 2013 – In an online interview with the website Noisecreep, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister fame weighed in on politics and music, saying he cannot understand why conservatives are listening to Teabagger Ted Nugent, bringing up the fact he "dodged the draft". Snyder said, "…he didn't bathe for a week, and vomited on himself to deliberately avoid the draft.". Then he told people to Google it, adding more fuel to the myth that he "pooped in his pants" to avoid the draft. This myth will not die, and it is a myth. Now don't get me wrong, Ted Nugent did dodge the draft and I totally disagree with his views. The way he avoided the draft though was not by "pooping in his pants" but was almost as bad; he used deferments because he was traveling with a rock and roll band, doing drugs, and screwing groupies…all the while other men were dying on the battlefield of the unnecessary, immoral Vietnam War.
