Musician-Activist Writes About the Current State of Politics
FEB 12, 2016 – David Byrne, musician frontman for the Talking Heads, posted an essay on his website about the current state of affairs of politics, the Internet, Trump and widespread disenfranchisement and distrust of government amongst Americans. He really gets into how almost all of us hang out in “Echo Chambers” with Facebook friends that already agree with us, and we just click “Like” back and forth on each other’s posts.
