Greenpeace’s Requiem For Arctic Ice Played in Front of Shell Offices

August 5, 2015 – Inspired by the band that played on as the Titanic sank, Greenpeace has gathered classical and other musicians to play a full orchestral suite of music in front of Shell offices and other places to fight drilling for oil in the Arctic with a tool at JTMP we are very familiar with, music. Greenpeace states on their Requiem For Arctic Ice website as the suite plays: “This is a musical protest against Shell’s dangerous drilling in the Arctic. The more we spread the campaign, the louder the music plays.”
