If this isn’t the pot calling the kettle black I just don’t know what is. Peter Thiel, who runs one of the largest data mining firms in the world, Palantir, and supposedly wants to replace his blood with young people, somehow doesn’t know that throughout history Generals in the Military have been conservatives all along. You don’t have liberal thinking at the top tier, you have hard core Republicans and hard core Marine Corp conservatives running the military.
So what does Thiel actually want? Thiel is a hard core libertarian, he’s also a major Trump supporter and donor to everything Trump. He supports or manages J.D. Vance, and Blake Masters, to do his bidding or be his voice in congress. So whatever these hand puppets say or do has to have the blessings of Peter Thiel. They don’t take a shit unless Thiel authorizes it. So If Blake Masters says: we need to replace all the military generals with conservatives, which they already are, he’s blowing smoke up everyones asses.
The military is run by conservatives, owned by conservatives, and has a conservative bias. They have to because they train soldiers to kill kill kill. It’s like saying we’d need to replace the late Lee Ermey with a harder core guy. It’s ludicrous to think that Generals or anyone in the higher ranks of the military are not conservatives.
So what is really being said here is they want to instill PURITY tests on the military leadership. So if Trump or any other hard core conservative is in power, they want the military to back their plays. If it’s a coup, yeah, they need the military. If it’s a war, yeah, they need the military. If it’s putting down liberal protestors, yeah they want the military to do it.
The long Republican romance with the military appears to have finally come to an end. And as conservative politicians and pundits have put the U.S. military—and especially the top brass—in their cross hairs, their supporters and listeners have taken note. The consequences for the U.S. military could be dire….
Why Conservatives Turned on the U.S. Military
Here are some of the reasons why conservatives want a more pure conservative leadership in the military.
Milley provoked an even more intense conservative backlash this past June, when, in testimony before the House Armed Services Committee, he defended the idea of military cadets studying CRT: “I’ve read Mao Zedong. I’ve read Karl Marx. I’ve read Lenin. That doesn’t make me a communist. So what is wrong with understanding—having some situational understanding about the country for which we are here to defend?” CRT, Milley suggested, would be useful in understanding “white rage” as well as the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol: “What is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America? What caused that? I want to find that out.”
Conservatives are upset that the military chiefs are actually “THINKING” and they don’t want a military leader to THINK. They want an obedient slave to do their bidding without question. The usual suspects, Matt Gaetz, Rand Paul, Trump et al, what we term the “Russian” portion of the Republican party, want Generals to do whatever they are told without questioning any of it.
The response was immediate. Trump called Milley’s comments “pathetic” and “sad,” adding that he would have “gotten rid of them”—Milley and other senior military officers who saw value in CRT—”in two minutes.” Representative Matt Gaetz, a Republican from Florida, chimed in on Twitter: “With Generals like this it’s no wonder we’ve fought considerably more wars than we’ve won.” More recently, Republicans called for Milley’s resignation after Bob Woodward and Robert Costa reported in their book Peril that before and after the 2020 election, Milley called his Chinese counterpart to reassure him that the United States would not suddenly attack China. “He should be court martialed if true,” Senator Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, tweeted earlier this month, echoing many others from his party.
No matter what, if the Russians get their way the military will be swimming in hard core followers and not leaders which we desperately need. As for Blake Masters, the Unabomber loving candidate from Arizona, Thiel tells him what to do because Masters cannot think for himself. He, like those they want to replace in the military, are not allowed to think. They are told what to say, told what to do, and told when they can do something and when they cannot. Do not be fooled by these candidates. They are wholly owned and operated by Peter Thiel, a blood soaked vampire if there ever was one.
